If you know the userid your webserver uses you can try to fix the problem using:
Code:

chown -R <webserver-usedid> /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail
If your webserver is running under the "www-data" userid that would be
Code:

chown -R www-data /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail

Try a
Code:

chown -R apache /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail chgrp -R apache /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail [/quote] And report back. If it that works after that adapt the shell-script you configured in voicemail.conf.

Solved.

While I was SURE that SELinux was disabled, I had to edit my grub.conf to force it off and the PHP scripts were able to access files above /var/www
